The Creation Museum
You know... I get something in my head that I'm so sure is a good idea...
Yeah, we made the trip to the Creation Museum. Let me preface by saying the production values of every aspect of this facility are almost overwhelmingly good.
That said, everything else wasn't really so much funny as I thought it would be beforehand as it was sad and offensive. There are little details that irk me like the "fact" that every animal was a vegetarian before Adam and Eve ate that friggin apple. Then there are big details like how they ridicule anyone who believes any differently and use fear as a tool. I could rant for hours about why this place is a palace of ignorance and zealotry, but that wouldn't really be funny. Instead, let's look at pretty pictures!
So yeah, even regular Christians speak out against this place. And anyone sporting basic scientific literacy is going to cough up their own skull. So, if you're in the mood to have a wave of inconsolable rage and sadness for your species wash over you, this is the place! If you attend a church with 3 last names or less, this is the place!
People believe what they want to believe, and for the most part I'm ok with that. But when you call anyone with a question a moron and scream "faith faith faith" while holding your ears and closing your eyes... well... this is the place for you.
